You might already know that Canada is an awesome place to live. But it seems as though the rest of the world agrees as well.
Earlier this year, Canada was ranked the #2 best country in the world, which is already pretty amazing. Now, for the fifth consecutive year, Canada has ranked #1 in the world for the best quality of life in 2020.
U.S. News surveyed 20,000 global citizens and asked them to judge 73 different countries on 75 different attributes in order to come up with the ranking.

The quality of life index was judged based on the following attributes:
- Job market
- Affordability
- Economic stability
- Family-friendly level
- Income equality level
- Politically stability
- Safety
- Education system
- Health care system
Furthermore, on October 30th, Canada plans to bring in more than 1.2 million immigrants over the next three years, despite hurdles created by the global pandemic.
Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino unveiled what he called an “ambitious” three-year immigration plan today that set targets for bringing skilled workers, family members and refugees into Canada.
