World War II
Flying schools were established across Canada as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Centralia was home to No. 9 Service Flying Training School (SFTS).

Thousands of pilots and navigators from Canada, USA and other NATO Nations trained at RCAF Centralia.
1967-1993
Centralia College of Agricultural Technology operated under the direction of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
